Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between information architecture and job performance of employees in the executive agencies of Rafsanjan city.
Methods: The research method is correlational. The statistical population includes all official employees working in the executive agencies of Rafsanjan city, totaling 1737 people. Using the Cochran formula, the sample size was determined to be 315 people. The data collection tool consisted of 2 questionnaires on information architecture and Organizational Specialized Activity.
Findings: . The research findings indicate a significant relationship between the information architecture component and its subcomponents: work architecture layer, information architecture layer, information systems architecture layer, data architecture layer, and technology architecture layer, with the job performance of employees in the executive agencies of Rafsanjan city. Data analysis revealed that the correlation coefficients of the Pearson and Spearman tests between the two variables of information architecture and employee job performance are 0.202 and 0.268, respectively. Consequently, there is a significant relationship between information architecture and employee job performance in the executive bodies of Rafsanjan city.
Conclusion: Moreover, the results suggest that increasing trust in information technology among employees leads to improved job performance. Modern communication networks in the organization enhance communication between management and employees. The use of related software and increased communication positively affects Organizational Specialized Activity. There is also a positive relationship between the use of information and communication systems and job performance.
Value: The present study focuses on information Architecture from a structural perspective.
