Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of preparing a fuzzy mapping of factors affecting the increase of students' information literacy.This research is practical in terms of purpose and exploratory in terms of data collection.This research is applied in terms of its purpose and exploratory in terms of its data collection method. The statistical population of the present study was students, especially students in the field of information and communication technology, from whom 20 people were selected as sample members using purposive sampling method and based on the principle of theoretical saturation.The data collection tool in the qualitative part of the research is an interview and in the quantitative part is a questionnaire.To analyze the data in the qualitative part, the theme analysis approach and coding method using Maxqda software and in the quantitative part the fuzzy cognitive map method were used.The validity of the research interview was confirmed using the relative content validity method and its reliability was confirmed using the intra-coder and inter-coder reliability method and Cohen's kappa test.Also, the validity and reliability of the research questionnaire was measured by content and retest validity.The findings of the research show that the most important factors affecting the increase of students' information literacy are creating awareness and understanding the importance of information literacy in academic and research success, independent external motivations, the existence of appropriate policies at the university level to promote information literacy, having advanced information and communication technology devices and the level of trust in the Internet.
