Abstract
Background and aim: The research was conducted with the aim of investigating and analyzing the status of international scientific cooperation of researchers in the articles of Iranian Journals indexed in the ISC database during the three years.
Materials and methods: The research is of applied scientometric type. The research community includes all scientific articles with international co-authors in Iranian Journals indexed in the ISC database during the years 2020-2022. The data have been analyzed using SPSS software and descriptive analysis.
Findings: The results show that a total of 195,377 titles of articles from Iranian publications were indexed in ISC during the years 2011-2019. The total number of articles with international co-authors in the investigated period includes 5934 article titles from 115 countries. The ratio of the total number of articles of Iranian publications indexed in ISC to articles with international co-authors shows that every year an average of 3% of articles are co-authored with other countries. Also, the results of the research showed that the United States, as the country that has the most scientific productions in the world, is the first partner of Iran's joint cooperation according to the model of international scientific cooperation. After the United States, Canada, Australia and Germany have been Iran's scientific cooperation partners.
Conclusion: Developed countries have played an important role in Iran's model of international scientific cooperation. In other words, these countries are considered Iran's scientific partners in the world, and Iran's scientific cooperation with these countries has been more.
