[English]

This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis and map the knowledge structure of organizational whistleblowing research, with particular emphasis on publication trends, thematic clusters, citation patterns, and emerging research areas. A bibliometric approach was employed using 316 English-language research and review articles indexed in the Web of Science database between 1992 and 2026. The data were examined through performance indicators, keyword co-occurrence analysis, and citation overlay visualizations, while scientific networks were constructed using VOSviewer. The findings revealed substantial growth in scholarly output, particularly since 2020. The Journal of Business Ethics emerged as the most influential outlet (48 articles; 2,866 citations), and the United States was the leading contributor (112 publications; 3,447 citations). Of 1,522 identified keywords, 125 frequently occurring terms were organized into six thematic clusters: behavior and perceptions; silence and antecedents; whistleblowing and ethics; management and corruption; retaliation and organizational justice; and employees and whistleblowing intentions. Temporal and citation analyses indicated a clear shift from early focus on silence, wrongdoing, and reporting intentions toward ethical leadership, trust, organizational justice, power, politics, and truth, with power-related and fairness concepts showing higher average and normalized citation impact. Overall, the literature is multidimensional and interdisciplinary. Future research should deepen examination of whistleblower protection mechanisms, the consequences of retaliation, and the role of organizational power structures in shaping disclosure decisions and behaviors.
