Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the status of publication, drawing the scientific structure and citation analysis of scientific products of Urmia University.
Methodology: The present research has been done in terms of applied purpose and in terms of descriptive-analytical methodology with scientometric approach. The required data has been collected through the web site of Science. The research community of this research includes 5837 scientific productions of the faculty members of Urmia University, which have been indexed in the web-science database from 1982 to 2019. To answer the research questions, web-based database analysis was used, as well as Excel software, website, CRExplorer and VOSViewver.
Finding: The findings indicate that the scientific production of Urmia University has had an upward trend but its growth rate has fluctuated. The average growth rate of Urmia University is 31.85%. Co-authorship indicators have shown the willingness of faculty members to collaborate in scientific production. Urmia University has the highest scientific cooperation at the national level with the Azad University and in the international arena with American universities. The level of cooperation between Urmia University and Iranian organizations is high and in contrast, scientific cooperation at the level of international organizations is low. The most busy subject areas in Urmia University are related to engineering, chemistry, agriculture, physics, veterinary medicine, materials science and computer science, respectively. Although most of the humanities disciplines are available at Urmia University, The most prolific and most cited members are professors in the field of technology and engineering.

Objectives: The objective of the present study was to explore the views and experiences of Shiraz University’s Humanities and Social Sciences faculty members who are associate or full professors and have membership in Shiraz University Promotion Committees; it focused on four dimensions of challenges and weaknesses, strengths, consequences of implementing the regulation and the proposed implications.
Methodology: In this qualitative descriptive phenomenological study, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 14 professors in Humanities and Social Sciences faculties. After transcribing the audio files of the interviews, the data were coded through three stages of open coding, axial coding and selective coding. Finally, 114 open codes, 21 axial codes, and 4 selective codes concerning the Promotion Regulation were discovered.
Findings: Findings showed that the challenges of Promotion Regulation include the victimization of the humanities, great emphasis on research and exclusion of other aspects, especially education, emphasis on quantity and lack of attention to quality, taste of committees concerning the Promotion Regulation, and a uniform regulation for all fields.
Conclusion: Previous research on Promotion Regulation in Iran have been quantitative research and most of them addressed the viewpoints of faculty members generally; However, the present study was a qualitative one and, more importantly, the Promotion Regulation was inspected in terms of humanities and social sciences experts’ perspectives

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the recreational reading status of students at the Tarbiat Modares University.
Methodlogy: This is a descriptive-analytical survey. The statistical population consists of a group of master's and doctoral students of Tarbiat Modares University in the academic year of 1398-99. The sample size was 203 people. The research questionnaire was based on the Müller’s questionnaire. To assess the validity of the questionnaire, the opinions of experts were used. The questionnaire was randomly distributed among them. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. It was 0.834%.
Findlings: Most of repondents refer to 13.38% of the recreational resources of virtual networks, and the university has not been able to stimulate interest in recreational reading among students. Among the libraries, their first priority is 49.74% of the central library of Tarbiat Modares University, compared to the public library and other libraries. For information from recreational sources, 29.17% of them prefer email. However, most students, (65.33%), preferred printed format to enjoy recreational reading.
Conclusion: We concluded that the interest in recreational reading is approximately 37.4% on average. Due to the limited time to do class activities, they spend three to four hours a week on recreational reading, and 32.2% studied their favorite subjects.
Value: The study provides original information on the current state of recreational reading of students at the Tarbiat Modares University which could lead to significant results if used in future planning of library.

Research population was the indexed papers in WOS databases from 1999 to 2018. Data related to articles with the affiliations of (AD=Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University), (AD=Tabriz University) and (AD=Sahand University of Technology) were searched in the WOS. Then, the time limit for scientific output was defined and the final research was conducted. Lastly, data were analyzed using Excel.
Findlings: According to the findings, scientific outputs indexed under the names of the Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Tabriz University, and Sahand University of Technology over the last 20 years were 279, 1723, and 365, respectively. The results showed that Zafarani-Moattar Mt, a professor at Tabriz University with 147 papers (8.5%), Sardroodi J., a professor at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University with 40 papers (14.3%), and Haghighi M from Sahand University of Technology with 79 articles (21%), Ranked first. In terms of scientific collaboration and inter-organizational co-authorship, Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Tabriz University, and Sahand University of Technology had the most cooperation with neighboring universities.
Value: The present study has studied the scientific productions of "Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University", "Sahand University of Technology" and "Tabriz University" in the field of chemistry for the first time.

Purpose: explaining the components of access based on one of the dimensions fundamental change theory in the process of seeking information students in virtual space.

Method: The present study is a qualitative using semi-structured interviews. Population consist of BA students in education and psychology Faculty of university of Tabriz, selected using snowball sampling. Finally, using the opinions of 21 students, required data came to the saturation. To analyze qualitative data and extract components from the method of coding the grounded theory and MaxQDA software used.
Findings :To design access model and to discover a common concept of the definition of the phenomenon in question (access), considering causal conditions (context of using the knowledge and ability of others and types of content used in virtual space), contextual variables (access tools), strategies (how to access information resources, having the necessary skills to use information resources independently, using the knowledge and abilities of others in virtual space), intervening conditions (barriers to accessing information) and consequences of access (application of virtual space for users) was explained.
Value: The value of this research is to show one of the important dimensions of the theory of fundamental change (access) that is affected by the virtual environment.

Conclusion: The emergence of electronic resources in virtual space and the unique features of virtual space have changed the information-seeking behavior of students, and need to have necessary abilities and skills in the field of information literacy, computer literacy, Internet literacy, communication literacy, critical literacy, and culture literacy.
